So this was on the street in Paris, we sat at a charming little cafe, where we enjoyed our first BOTTLE of Wine, this was my salad course: Avacodo; mashed and shaped into a circle topped with pesto, olive oil, roasted tomato and basil, with grated carrots, Was hard to force the first bite, but was amazed at the taste and ended up eating 3/4th of this! |

For those of you who are into the food thingy! This blog will be updated as we consume our way across the land. I will try my best to add little "WHAT IT TASTES LIKE" to the photos.
Considered Breakfast in Dublin Ireland. Consisted of sausage, ham, mushroom, roasted tomato, scrambled eggs toast, Doug had this at the airport. I was too miserable to eat or sleep.
This was first night dinner in London Pub. Doug had this delicious "beef and mushroom pot pie" comes with the fries, veggies and a gravy boat, in case you didn't get enough in the pie! Was yummy. Dough was made from Phillo dough I am pretty sure, as it was really light.
My dinner was "Pot Roast" It is a typical dish served in the local pubs around London. Roast beef, a mixture of vegetables (deep fried halves of baby potatoes, cooked carrots, a lot of saute' red onion, crisp green beans) "Yorkshire pudding", aka delicious mashed potatoes, gravy and the item at the 11 o'clock position is a light bread dough thing. It resembles Phillo dough that is shaped around an upside down cupcake tin, baked and slightly filled bottom of gravy. Not sure why the put it on the plate, but was super happy they did after one taste!
This one is a "pizza" for their "light fare", had 600 calories (approx) A very crusty base, similar to an overdone tombstone pizza crust. Topped with a super small amount of red sauce, then covered with basil, greens (?) mozzarella balls, grape tomatoes and fine red onion. Drizzled with olive oil and black pepper.
